Privacy Policy
LOCAL INCHEON (the "Site", operated by Donnattang) protects your personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea (Article 30). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. In case of any difference, the Korean version prevails.
1. What we collect and how

We do not collect passwords (you log in using a one-time email code or your Google account). We do not collect your phone number or date of birth, and we receive your name and profile photo URL from Google only if you log in with Google.
If you use My Local Pocket, the venues you save, the dishes you pick (ordering phrases), and any notes you write are stored in your account and deleted when you delete your account.
2. Why we use it
- To identify you and handle login (sending login codes and verifying Google login)
- To provide and operate member features, such as receiving and answering inquiries sent through the Help page and publishing, hiding and managing visitor reviews
- To prevent automated sign-ups, spam and other abuse, and to keep the Site secure
- To answer your requests and meet legal obligations
3. How long we keep it
- Account data: deleted promptly (within 3 days) when you ask to delete your account. When your account is deleted, your inquiries, our answers, the reviews and photos you posted, and any information received through Google login are deleted too.
- Access and login-attempt logs: kept for 1 year for security, then deleted.
- Where a law requires longer retention, we keep the data for that period.
4. Processors and transfers outside Korea
We use the providers below to run the Site. Some processing happens outside Korea. Under Article 28-8 of the Act we inform you of the following. If you do not agree, you cannot create an account (you can still browse the Site without one).

5. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except where the law requires it.
6. Your rights
You can view, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time. Change your nickname and language on the "My account" page. For other requests (access, deletion, account removal), email the address below; we respond within 3 days and confirm your identity through your sign-up email.
7. Deletion
When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we delete the data without delay, using methods that prevent recovery.
8. Security measures
- Passwordless login (a one-time email code or Google login), so no passwords are stored
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) and row-level database access control (you can access only your own data)
- Minimal operator access and separate storage of administrative keys
- Physical and technical protection by providers holding security certifications (such as SOC 2), under their responsibility
9. Children under 14
We do not collect personal information from children under 14. You confirm that you are 14 or older when you sign up; accounts found to belong to younger users are deleted.
10. Cookies and browser storage
We use browser storage (localStorage) to keep you logged in and to remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage logs you out. The Google login button on the login screen is provided by Google; Google's cookies and privacy policy apply when the button is displayed and when you use it to log in.

13. Changes to this policy
We announce changes on the Site, and they take effect the same day. Changes unfavorable to members are announced 7 days ahead and also emailed to the address on your account.
