Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms set the conditions for using the member features of LOCAL INCHEON (the "Site", operated by Donnattang), such as writing visitor reviews and sending inquiries through the Help page, and the rights and duties of members and the operator.

2. Definitions

"Member": a person who signed up by email verification or with a Google account and agreed to these Terms
"Post": any content a member leaves on the Site, including visitor reviews (rating, tags, text, photos) and inquiries
"Operator": Donnattang, who runs the Site and manages posts

3. Posting and changing the Terms

The Terms are posted at the bottom of the Site and on the sign-up screen.
Changes are announced on the Site and take effect the same day. Changes unfavorable to members are announced 7 days ahead and also emailed. Continuing to use the Site after the effective date counts as agreement. If you do not agree, you may delete your account.

4. Sign-up

To sign up, you confirm the code we email you or log in with your Google account, then, the first time only, choose a nickname and preferred language, agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and confirm that you are 14 or older. There is no password.
You must be 14 years of age or older.
Creating several accounts to leave several reviews for the same place is prohibited.
Nicknames must be 2–12 characters and may not contain email addresses, phone numbers, links, abusive words or impersonation. The operator may ask you to change, or may change, an inappropriate nickname.

5. The service

The Site introduces neighborhood shops in Incheon and lets members write visitor reviews of shops and send inquiries through the Help page. Inquiries are answered by the operator; an AI answer feature based on the Site's information may be added later.
Visitor reviews are published as soon as they are posted, and the operator checks them afterwards. An inquiry can be seen only by the operator and the member who sent it; answers usually take 1–3 days.
Shop information (hours, prices, menus) reflects the time of the operator's visit and may change. The Site does not guarantee accuracy; please confirm with the shop before visiting. AI answers are for reference only and may be wrong.

6. Member duties and prohibited acts

Members must not:

Post false content or describe experiences they did not have
Post advertisements, promotions, links or contact details, or write reviews in exchange for payment
Insult, defame or abuse others, including shops, staff and other members
Post other people's personal information (faces, phone numbers, license plates, etc.)
Post others' text, photos or other works without permission
Use automated tools to sign up or post, or interfere with the service
Violate laws or public order

7. Rights in posts and license

Copyright in a post stays with its author.
Members grant the Site a free, non-exclusive license to display, store, translate and summarize (including with AI) their posts on the Site, and to use them to introduce the Site on its official channels (YouTube, social media). The license ends when the account or the post is deleted; summaries and statistics already created do not identify the author.
Members may delete their posts at any time. Inquiries may be edited within 90 days of writing, and the operator checks edited inquiries again. Reviews may be edited at any time; after they are published, the operator checks them and may hide them if needed.

8. Operator's rights

The operator may decline to publish, hide or delete posts that violate section 6 or do not fit the Site's purpose.
The operator may hide posts that receive multiple reports until they are reviewed.
The operator may restrict posting or suspend the accounts of repeat violators and will notify them by email.

9. Account deletion and restrictions

Members may request account deletion by email as described on the "My account" page; the operator deletes the account and its posts within 3 days.
The operator may delete an account after prior notice for reasons such as violations of section 6 or two years of inactivity.

10. Limitation of liability

The Site is a free, personally operated information site. It has no business relationship with the shops and is not responsible for disputes that arise at them.
Unless caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for damage from service interruptions, errors or inaccurate information.
Members are responsible for problems caused by their own violations of these Terms.

11. Changes to or suspension of the service

The operator may change or suspend the service and will announce important changes or suspensions on the Site.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are brought before the Incheon District Court, which has jurisdiction over the operator's location, as the court of first instance. If a translation differs from the Korean Terms, the Korean text prevails.
